What is your response to this section? Eldredge urges us to take the time to ask God how He thinks we are doing. He also urges that we ask how WE think that WE are doing because we sometimes don't even know what we believe about ourselves.

These sections were pretty convicting because I discovered that I don't go to God with everything. Asking him about how I think I'm doing is a new concept. I usually ask for forgiveness over something or ask for guidance but not really "how am I doing."
I have not ever thought of this one either. I think that it is something that I am going to have to start doing.
