Chapter 10: "The Crux of the Matter"
>> Saturday, June 5, 2010
It is hard to believe that this is the last chapter of "Crazy Love". In this last chapter, Chan points out that we can sit back and say, "that was a great book" or we an allow God to use it to change us and how we realate to Him and those around us. Where does this book leave us now? How has God used it to change you? What do you hear Him telling you, how is He leading you?

I read this chapter a couple weeks ago so I'm trying to remember everything. I do remember feeling like I don't do enough for Christ. I think there's so much more I could do if I would just step out of my comfort zone and do it. When I look around at all the "stuff" we have, I wonder how much of it we really need. When we rented our house in Corpus, we had to move into a smaller rent house for a few months and it was great! The movers had already taken our things, except for those things we kept with us. We spent more time doing things together because we couldn't spread out as much. The kids played with boxes and paper sacks and had a great time. We decorated with the kid's artwork from school and I never once felt like we didn't have enough.
I underlined the following sentence on pg. 166. "I urge you to consider and actually live as though each person you come into contact with is Christ." This was very convicting to me and I have a lot of work to do in this area but that's really what we should do.
I have loved every chapter of this book and sharing it with you. I think I'm going to read his other book "Forgotten God" too.
