What might God say to me if He were sitting here with me now?

Julie, June 1, 2008 at 11:53 AM: I think He actually spoke to me this morning through an amazing woman of God at church. We were talking about the upcoming birth of her granddaughter and I was reminising (bad spelling)on how much I loved being pregnant. She shared that she thought I was a great mom and that my kids were really good. I love how God knows exactly what we need to hear and tells us in such a variety of ways.

I love Psalm 139 and how it just reinforces how much God loves us and knows us. He is always with us and I wonder how many times we forget that in a day? I know I often wonder where He is, but then I just have to remember the words of this psalm, "I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence."
C-Wo, June 1, 2008 at 9:02 PM: I think that He would tell me that he understands what I am going through during difficult times and remind me that I am not alone during those times, He is always there guiding me if I will give everything over to Him. I am often guilty of saying that I will give Him total control, but keep one toe on the gas or break. I get busy and forget to ask Father for help. I love what David wrote in verses 9-10 of the Psalm "If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast." What a comfort that He will always be there guiding me, as long as I will stop and seek that guidance!
