Not Every Gospel is Equal

Eldredge discusses making distinctions between different churches or Christian movements today. (He talkes about a Christian college, saying "They don't get it." How do you feel about this? Do you feel it is right or wrong to make these distinctions and to voice them?

I really feel like we have to make these distinctions today. There are so many half-truths out there and we really have to be careful. If we are not bold enough to speak these things (prayerfully, of course) then our brothers and sisters might also be led astray. At a minimum, speaking what we believe will make those around us think about what they believe and why.

I agree with Kasey. I believe that Christians as a whole spend too much time keeping things to ourselves. I've recently been thinking that if all Christians would stand up for what we believe in, the world wouldn't be in the state it is. If we fought back more maybe we'd allow God back into our schools. If we fought back more, maybe we could use the phrase Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays. I could go on and on but I feel like as a whole, Christians slink away from the fight and because of that God is getting pushed further out of our society.

Sorry for going off on a tangent there.
