What are small steps taht I can take this week to help love, joy and forgiveness grow in my home?

C-Wo, July 14, 2008 at 8:37 PM: Our entire family loves music and I usually have some playing in the background throughout the day. Lately I have been forgetting to play music in the kitchen, where we typically all listen and sing together while I make lunch or dinner. I have noticed that during those times, everyone seems to get along better and just have more fun together. It also opens up opportunities to talk to the kids about God. Espcially my 4 year old. He will ask questions about what a song means, opening up lots of conversations. I love it!

Something that my husband did this week that I loved is we had a "cleaning and music time". He put on our favorite David Crowder CD (The Remedy - it is great!) and we all cleaned the house for the duration of the CD. We all worked together, some much needed cleaning got done, and we got to praise God all at the same time! It also allowed the kids the predictability of how long we would clean and gave me a structured quitting time!
