What two ideas does this passage give me to implement with my children this week?

C-Wo, August 4, 2008 at 8:18 PM: I try very hard to tell my children of scriptures when I am explaining something--why we don't hit each other--thinking of happy thoughts at night instead of something that scares us--how He never leaves us and is always there. I have not; however, actually showing them in the Bible where the scriptures are read. He really spoke to me through this, that actually showing my children in the Bible where God is telling us these things, that they might become more concrete for them. I think that it will also hopefully better show them where to turn. I won't always be there to tell them. They are still young and don't read on their own, but why not start showing them now that we can use the Bible more than a book for "Bible stories". They can turn there when they have questions or a problem that they need to take to Father.
