Write a brief poem or story that describes something God has done for you recently to share with your children (see verse 4).

Meditate on Colossians 1:9-12, making it a prayer for each family member.

I am going to tell the boys multiple stories, probably instead of a book at naptime, about different things that God has been doing in our lives. There are so many things that I will be able to tell them several: He provided in many ways and lead us to move back to my home town. He is in the process of answering some very big prayers that C, as well as my husband and I, have all been praying for regarding the direction He is leading our family in ministry. (I LOVE that C has been praying for this and that God is telling him "yes"!!!) He is opening up many new doors here for various new friendships since we have moved. The list goes on and on!
