People who are beautiful to me...
*pregnant women (they have such a glow)
*Godly older women (despite their gray hair and wrinkles)
*other moms (despite their food stained shirts, messed up hair, and lack of make-up)
*and obviously those just gorgeous women who don't even have to try at it.
I can so relate to wanting to be and be found beautiful. The book talks about as little girls we play dress up and then prance around hoping someone will notice and say something. I think it's still true today, even though I have less time to dress up these days. When I am able to dress up, I feel so good about myself. I forget about the months of wearing only a hat and thinking it was a good day if I got a shower before bed. It's even more special when someone notices. Whether my husband, my kids, or others, just having someone tell you that you look beautiful can make you believe it.
I love that even on my worst days, my husband always tells me I'm beautiful. In Psalm 45:11, we are told that the King is enthralled by our beauty. We are beautiful to someone everyday and that someone is God.
