It's hard to think of myself of someone's priority. Being a mom, everything and everyone takes priority over me. Somedays when I'm overwhelmed by even the thought of that, I can be encouraged that God makes me a priority. To think that He can hear me even when millions of others are talking to Him, that He can see me amongst everyone else in the world, and He knows my heart at any given moment is totally beyond comprehension. I know what it looks like to have priorities, but to actually think about what it looks like for me to be someone's priority is really hard.
I can hardly get past the excitment that I am a priority to God. I have always known that He loves me, but He is showing me how deeply He loves me though my love for my own children. I see what a priority my children are to me and it is an almost overwhelming, exciting thought that I am a priority to the Father.
