Chapter 1, Irreplaceable

>> Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Do you have a desire to play an irreplaceable role in a heroic adventure? Take a few moments to think about that...What would you be doing if money, status, time, etc. were no object and you had the opportunity to take on an adventure? How would your living that life impact others in this world? How is the life that you are living now impacting those around you and the world?

If money, status, time, whatever were no object my big adventure would be going out and experiencing God's creation. There are so many places I want to visit and explore. When I think about the places I have been the best part of those places were the times spent out in God's creation marveling at all He's done. When we lived in Washington State, God took my breath away everyday. From the eagles flying, to the mountains reflecting off the ocean, to the wooded trails we hikes, the tulips in full bloom, and I could on and on. When we visited Hawaii recently I was amazed at His creation again. From the roaring waves, to the fog covering the hills, to the rainbows after the rain, it was all amazing. I would love to just immerse myself in God's creation and give my kids the opportunity to do the same.

The life I'm living right now greatly impacts three precious lives. God has blessed me with the responsibility to raise and nurture three of His children. Everything I do and say impacts them and in return impacts the world as they go off into it.

I really feel like I am where God wants me to be right now. I have been so blessed to be able to stay home with my three boys and cherish even the chaotic moments with them--I love it! I would love to own some land with Zach and place a lot of fun things on it for different ministries to use for retreats and ministry activities. We would love to have a huge, outdoor stage and place for free concerts to be held. When we are not doing that, I would love to travel, travel, travel (some with my children to experience the wonders of God's creation with them, and some just with Zach).
